Belgium. Life is good.

Climbed the stairs up the Eiffel Tower at night... simply breath taking.
































Spent all day in Belgium and had a blast! 3 best things to do in Belgium... Belgium chocolate, Belgium waffles, and Belgium beer (check, check, and check)

Worst 24 hours of my life. My original plan for yesterday was to take the 8:45am train from Barcelona to Paris and get in around 5:45pm. 7:30am this morning I finally made it home. The train from Barcelona to Montpillier was then supposed to go from Montpillier to Paris. Well there were rock slides or something and no high speed trains were going to Paris. SOOOO we ended up taking a train from Monpillier to Toulouse, then waiting 5.5 hours to take a night train to Paris. Normally the night train is supposed to have beds but NO we got SEATS with the lights on all night LOL. Just glad to be back in Paris!

On a more positive note, the train ride had some beautiful views and I'm back in Paris.

Spain is great, totally a vacation spot. Heading to the beach again today then shopping. Taking the high speed train back to Paris in the morning!

Spain is beautiful, not as much to do as Paris but the nightlife is fun and the weather is summery! Went to the beach today in SPAIN, still need to pinch myself daily! Will post more pics later.

Off to Notre Dame Cathedral this morning and then on a scavenger hunt around the city ending with a picnic at the Eiffel Tower. Hopefully I will get to go up in it today!

So I am busy planning my travel adventures while I am here. I think I am planning to go to Rome because I decided today on the train that seeing the Colosseum is on my top things to do before I die list, and if I am this close, I want to go. Also I am ecstatic because I am also planning a trip to Frankfurt and Heidelberg GERMANY. Ich kann nicht warten, Deutsch zu sprechen. (I can't wait to speak German). Frau Peters will be soo excited.

Anyway its late here so I am off to bed, meeting with the U.S. embassy here in France tomorrow.

I made it!!

Well I am officially in Paris and it is amazing just as I expected it would be! Sorry I haven't posted sooner, I was running on 30+ hours with NO sleep. I got to see the Eiffel Tower tonight, now I feel like I'm here.
